Many people (especially us "cynical" teenagers) question whether life is worth living or not. Sure, life has its pleasures, but the universe seems to conspire against you a lot of the time.
I'll be honest; I've contemplated suicide before (some of you may recall an old journal entry where such happened).
But now, I'm certain all the tragedies in life are more than worth it.
I met
over Memorial weekend... it was the best 4 days of my life, no exaggeration. ^^
OMG, WHERE TO BEGIN?! When we met, I glomped her, and spun her around, and I shared my first kiss with her!
We tried to eat out at the restaurant we planned to meet at, but I wasn't able to stomach much. Eventually, we asked our parents if we could just hang out outside, and they said yes. We cuddled on a bench, and just talked and cherished the moment.
I ALSO GAVE HER MY FIRST NECK-KISS!! W00T!!!

When our parents came back out, they talked and we continued to cuddle while listening to her ipod. Eventually, we had to leave, which took about eighteen kisses and fifty hugs before we could actually stand to part.
The next day, we met her at Busche Gardens, along with
and his gf (he's the one that got me and my parents free tickets to the place; he used to work there). We went on a bunch of rides, shared drinks and slushies, and even bought light-up lightsabers xD (
bought a pair of light-up bunny-ears xD). We later went on a double-date with
and her bf about three or so hours after
and his gf left.
Only bad thing that happened was me losing my cell phone on a ride called Griffon. Moral of the story? DON'T TRUST YOUR POCKETS TO HOLD PHONES!!!
Later, my parents and I took
on a Williamsburg ghost tour, where this guide takes you to all these "haunted" houses and tells you their stories. It was really interesting, but
and I were kinda caught up with one another. ^^
The next day, we went to her house to pick her up, and left 4 King's Dominion, a theme park famous for carrying SONIC THE HEDGEHOG MERCHANDISE!!! 8D
We went to this ride called Drop-Tower first. Guess what it is? Yep; it's a huge, circular ride that takes you way up and then just... drops you. I screamed some... should-be-censored words on it.
Then we went to the water park part of King's Dominion. We went on this huge funnel-shaped water ride that is by far the most intense water ride I've ever been on; we almost fell out. xD We went on the lazy-river, then into the wave pool, where we splashed each other constantly.
After that, we went and ate some pizza, and just kinda messed around before going on the ferris-wheel. After that, we went to the giftshop that sold huge Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, and Shadow plushies. I bought myself a Shadow plushie just cause, and helped
buy a cute lil' kitten plushie. ^^ She does love kittens. xD My parents bought my brothers a Knuckles and Tail plushie.
I also bought this hat that immitates Knuckles' dreadlocks, and I put it on as soon as we left the store. It irritated my gf to some extreme lengths, as she was embarrassed by it. xD
So finally, we took her home, did the whole cuddle-and-kiss/hang out awhile routine, and then we left.
The next day, we spent entirely at her house, so we mostly cuddled, talked, and of course kissed. xD She made me watch the anime
Host Club with her, which was awfully... I dunno,
girly to me, but I guess it was okay.
Her family invited some other relatives over, and I was feeling kinda shy and awkward, but it was nice to meet them. We had a cookout, and I hung out with
in her room awhile, and then...
Then we had to leave...
It was one of the hardest things I've ever done. I hugged her, trying to soothe her when I myself was feeling like something had died inside me. Finally, my family was able to pull me away, and we went to the airport. I cried my eyes out, and the only thing that comforted me was this removable sleeve-tatoo thingy she'd given me before we parted. It smelled like her...
I couldn't bring myself to look out the window of the plane as it took off.
When we got back home, I buried my face into the Shadow plushie I'd bought and bawled like a little kid... leaving her was the hardest thing I've ever done, and I still miss her terribly.
But... it was more than worth it.
and I had the greatest 4 days of our lives, and we're already making plans to meet again this summer. ^^ I'm trying to get a job this summer so I can make some money to help that happen.
So, yeah... lol, I'm caught up in the love department. ^^ Life is worth living.
